Ricardo Gonzalez Zurita - Classical Guitarist: With determination, you will find a way. Keep going!
"Ricardo González Zurita is a mexican-spanish classical guitarist based in Lithuania.
He started his musical career in his native country México, where he started studying with Luis David Ramírez in Centro de Estudios Musicales Manuel M. Ponce in Aguascalientes and continued with Miguel Ángel Castellanos and Sergio Damian Wilson at the Conservatorio de las Rosas in Morelia.
Wishing to go deeper into the musical world, he decided to move to Barcelona, Spain where he started his Bachelor's Degree at Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya, under the mentorship of world renowned guitarist Zoran Dukic. His enormous desire to learn, took him to Strasbourg, France where for a couple of years he accrued more knowledge from Alexis Mozourakis (from «Duo Melis») at the Haute École des arts du Rhin. He finished his Master's Degree at the Real Conservatorio Superior de Música de Madrid, Spain, where guided by Professor Javier Somoza de Pablo he specialized in spanish repertoire for classical guitar.
Ricardo is very passionate about two topics directly related with classical music: interpretation and teaching. As a performer he intends to highlight different types of messages that are hidden in the music and portray them in such a way that gives a fresh perspective. Ricardo always tries to give a part of himself to his pupils and helps them find their own personal way to develop and to always put the music first. His approach is to always be professional, meaningful and sincere."
