Raymond Lukens and Franco De Vita - The ABT National Training Curriculum

Raymond Lukens and Franco De Vita are talking about what inspired them to write and develop The ABT National Training Curriculum. They explain the factors they took in consideration to ensure that dancers are stylistically flexible and technically solid and in tune with their bodies to ensure they could do the work without the risk of injuries. It was also important to define what it was that made a dancer happy. The health aspect as well as the state of mind aspect were important points that they wanted to focus on. With a lot of research they were able to put together this wonderful program at The American Ballet Theatre.

Hear more about their work, about their careers as ballet dancers and how they teach their program all over the world.
