The privilege of working with choreographer Mats Ek - Luca Curreli

Working with the choreographer, Mats Ek was a great privilege for Ballet Dancer Luca Curreli when he was dancing one of the main roles in "She was black" at the Norwegian National ballet. Luca tells about the great energy and passion Mats Ek has for his work and that the 8 weeks he was working with him was a great honour. He also tells more about the meaning behind this contemporary piece and how the audiences reacted to this great work. Seeing that this interview was done on Valentine's day, I wanted to know from Luca what it is like to be a couple where both are dancers. "I feel there's a level of connection and deep understanding between us. We don't understand each other just as humans, but as dancers." Luca also expresses his wishes for the future and gives a shout out to his friend who started his restaurant during Lockdown in Oslo, Fabio Pezzoli
