I just love this story of the young boy who had a fascination with the Circus, a love for musicals and live theatre. Christian Struppek is VBW Artistic Director responsible for bringing some of the most famous musical theatre productions to Vienna. His interested in the business side of theatre as well as the artistic side, was already apparent at a young age. His sheer determination and not accepting "no" as an answer ensured him his first role in the musical The Rocky Horror show. Christian is also talking about the production of Miss Saigon, the most successful musical ever, that is currently playing in Vienna at the Raimund Theater . He gives some insight into the planning of this wonderful production and how the casting process works.
