Anastasiia Karpenko - Opera singer/Painter: When I'm on stage, I'm part of the story.
Anastasiia Karpenko, Opera singer and Artist- "Because when you're on stage, most of the time the opera is written so good, and you have time to get used to get used to the atmosphere and be part of the story. Then I'm not Anastasiia anymore, I'm Rosina, and Rosina doesn't have hesitations. She's not nervous about the audience or about what people think. She is Rosina. It's much easier."
In 2021 the young soprano will make her debut as Adina in L’elisir d’amore and as Gilda in Rigoletto at the Dnepropetrovsk Opera and Ballet (Ukraine). In summer she makes her debut as Queen of the Night in “The Magic Flute” at the Jerusalem Lyric Opera Festival. In addition to her numerous recitals in Austria and the Urkaine, Anastasia also devotes herself to painting – numerous exhibitions and galleries in Austria and Germany show her great talent!
